Today is Memorial Day. Thank you to all those veterans still with us, and especially to those not with us anymore. Your sacrifice is most appreciated and never taken for granted by me.
But as my mind was thinking of veterans, I got to thinking about our church veterans. Those that have gone before us and established the foundations we have today– thank you!
To the missionaries on the front lines – Thank you! You fight the good fight daily to save people. I appreciate your sacrifices and the hardships you go thru in order to save others.
Thank you for remembering our veterans, both American soldiers and soldiers for Christ! I had a missionary friend who was matyred last year while he was on the mission field. He left behind a wife and 4 kids who carry on his passion.
How sad. But such a beautiful testimony to his life that his family continues his work.
Sending some prayers their way and to those out in the field in general today.
Methinks missionaries are unsung heroes.
Definitely. Honestly I never thought about it much until my brother and sister in-law started considering doing it full time. Now I have such a heart for missionaries.
I am awed by the sacrifices made when I really sit down and think about it.
Great Kim. Thank you for praying for the pastors and missionaries around the world and the people they are reaching. That is an important job in itself. You are a mighty warrior for Christ yourself. keep up the great work!
